Netflix is rolling out a heavyweight October 2026 slate, blending buzzy new originals with the long-awaited return of fan favorites. Leading the new arrivals is "East of Eden" (Oct. 1), a limited series adaptation of John Steinbeck's classic novel, created by Zoe Kazan and starring Florence Pugh as Cathy Ames alongside Christopher Abbott.
On the film front, Ben Affleck writes, directs, and stars in "Animals" (Oct. 9), a tense crime thriller about an LA mayoral candidate racing against the clock after his son is kidnapped for ransom, co-starring Gillian Anderson and Kerry Washington.
Returning favorites include "Love Is Blind" Season 11 (Oct. 14), political thriller "The Diplomat" Season 4 (Oct. 15), Emmy-nominated rom-com "Nobody Wants This" Season 3 with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody (Oct. 22), and French mystery hit "Lupin" Season 4 (Oct. 23).
With this mix of prestige drama, star power, and beloved series, Netflix's October slate is shaping up as one of its strongest of the year.
