🌧️ Central Florida Flood Advisory as Heavy Rain Continues
Central Florida is facing another day of unsettled weather as frequent rain and thunderstorms continue across the region. A flood advisory has been issued for Orange, Brevard, Volusia, Seminole, St. Lucie, Lake, Osceola, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties.
Forecasters expect on-and-off rainfall throughout Thursday, with heavier downpours and thunderstorms possible during the afternoon. A stalled frontal boundary is keeping rain chances elevated across Central Florida through the end of the week.
Hurricane Isaias is also moving through the Gulf and sending additional moisture toward Florida, although it is not expected to make a direct impact on Central Florida. Residents in affected areas should remain alert for rapidly rising water, ponding on roads and localized flooding, especially during periods of heavy rainfall. Drivers are advised to use extra caution.
