Travis Kelce Stars in Star-Studded Tommy Hilfiger Debut Campaign
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce officially launched his first commercial for Tommy Hilfiger on September 1, marking a major milestone in his multi-season partnership with the brand. The campaign was filmed over two days in April at New York's historic Plaza Hotel, where designer Tommy Hilfiger himself lived for eleven years.
The roughly two-minute film spot features a star-studded cast of brand ambassadors, including South Korean singer Peggy Gou, model Gigi Hadid, K-pop star Jisoo, tennis player Frances Tiafoe, and former NBA star Carmelo Anthony. The campaign also includes a surprise appearance by Kelce's real-life white Samoyed dog, Wendy, who is seen relaxing with him on a striped lounger at the Plaza.
In the ad, Kelce walks outside in a letter jacket before running into Tommy Hilfiger himself, who rolls down the window of a cab and asks, "What are the chances?" Kelce joins him inside, saying there's "a magic" to New York City. Tommy Hilfiger's global chief marketing officer, Virginia Ritchie, called the spot "magnificent."
The campaign arrives during an eventful year for Kelce, who married pop star Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden over July 4th weekend. On the football side, Kelce is playing under a one-year, $12 million contract with the Chiefs for the 2026 season. Hilfiger executives have confirmed a second, larger campaign featuring additional celebrities is already scheduled for release in February 2027.
