Travis Hunter Poised for Bigger Role as Jaguars Host Patriots in Week 3
The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) host the New England Patriots (1-1) in a Week 3 showdown at EverBank Stadium, kicking off at 1:00 PM EDT on CBS. Jacksonville is looking to bounce back after a tough loss at Denver last week, with defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile noting his squad brought a sharper edge to practice this week.
New England enters fresh off a Super Bowl runner-up campaign, with MVP runner-up Drake Maye leading their offense, making this an early measuring-stick matchup for both sides.
All eyes will be on Jaguars two-way standout Travis Hunter, who could see an expanded offensive role after being eased back from a serious knee injury — he's logged 58% of defensive snaps but just 9% on offense so far. According to NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe, this marks Hunter's busiest practice week yet as Jacksonville looks to unleash him further.
