Pumas and León Share the Points in Thrilling 1-1 Draw at Ciudad Universitaria
Pumas UNAM hosted León in the rescheduled Matchday 7 clash of the Liga MX Apertura 2026 at Estadio Olímpico Universitario, with León's Alvarado leveling the score with a spectacular bicycle kick to make it 1-1.
The postponed fixture, delayed by León's deep run in the Leagues Cup, saw both sides push for a much-needed result — Pumas looking to snap a winless streak, and León aiming to climb toward the top of the table.
The draw leaves both clubs still chasing consistency as the Apertura 2026 season progresses.
