Kenneth Walker III Explodes for 151 Yards, 2 TDs as Chiefs Crush Broncos 31-10
Kenneth Walker III delivered an unforgettable Kansas City debut on Monday Night Football, as the Chiefs routed the Denver Broncos 31-10 to open the 2026 season. The reigning Super Bowl MVP, who signed a three-year, $45 million deal with Kansas City this offseason, finished with 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a spectacular 60-yard fourth-down scamper to open the second half.
Walker also hauled in a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes, who was making his own return from a torn ACL. Denver's offense, which found the end zone early on a touchdown pass from Bo Nix to Evan Engram, went silent after the first quarter as Kansas City's defense tightened up.
With Walker anchoring a dominant ground attack, the Chiefs served notice that last year's 6-11 finish is firmly in the rearview mirror heading into 2026.
