Jaxson Dart Credits John Harbaugh's Culture as Giants Stun Cowboys 28-20 in Season Opener
Jaxson Dart led the New York Giants to a 28-20 season-opening win over the favored Dallas Cowboys, throwing three touchdowns and rushing for 54 yards while crediting new head coach John Harbaugh's leadership for the performance.
Dart said the team never trailed after driving for a touchdown on their opening possession, calling it the result of putting Harbaugh's preaching into action. "The identity of a team starts at the top," Dart said, praising how Harbaugh has built a tough, respected culture that players have fully bought into week in and week out.
Harbaugh, hired after 18 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, takes over a Giants franchise seeking stability, with Dart entering his second season as the centerpiece of the rebuild.
