Silo Season 3 Episode 9 Recap: Bernard's Last Stand and the Origins of the Silos Revealed
Apple TV+'s dystopian thriller delivered a gut-punch penultimate episode as Silo season 3 barrels toward its finale. In "Farewell," Bernard turns himself in after Juliette's capture at the end of episode 8, asking Camille to arrange a meeting with the mysterious voice inside IT. He tries to reason with it, but Camille remains unwilling to stray from the plan even after Bernard lays out the truth to her.
In a heartbreaking turn, Bernard tells Juliette she was chosen for a reason and urges her to keep fighting, before heading out to clean without a suit and collapsing beneath a distant tree. It may mark the character's final farewell.
Meanwhile, the past timeline pushes the mystery forward as Daniel and Helen find themselves at the very beginning of the Silo era, hinting at how their bloodline connects to the present-day struggle.
Fans are calling this one of the season's strongest hours as questions swirl heading into the finale, arriving Friday, September 4, exclusively on Apple TV+.
