England Bowled Out for 290 at Lord’s

England were dismissed for 290 in the second session of the Test match against Pakistan at Lord’s, giving the visitors an important opportunity to take control of the contest. England resumed on 248 for nine and managed to add valuable runs through their final-wicket partnership before Pakistan completed the innings.

Pakistan’s bowlers maintained disciplined pressure throughout England’s innings, using movement from the pitch to trouble the home batters. Although England struggled to build a commanding total, 290 could still prove competitive if their bowlers make early breakthroughs.

Pakistan will now begin its first innings with the aim of establishing a useful lead and putting England under further pressure. The visitors will be encouraged by their strong bowling display, while England will need a sharp performance with the ball to remain in contention.

With the series currently standing at 1–0, this Test remains finely balanced. The next session could prove decisive as Pakistan’s batters face England’s attack under challenging Lord’s conditions.
